New Gospel vs. Old Gospel.

Don’t tune out yet. I almost wrote “finally” in the heading above. But maybe many have written this before. But to me Kevin DeYoung gave the finest, clear example of the difference between the two “gospels” and why the New is wrong and dangerous and (what it is actually) and why we must cling to the Old. It is not theology crazy hard to understand. It is written in plain english and to me hard to argue with.

This is not some fringe New Gospel. It is preached every Sunday, in every city. Man, I sound like a grumpy, old man, watchdog type. Well, this stuff gets me going that way. When I was a kid . . .

But there were many great quotes to pull from. Please go and read it and comment there, here, anywhere. Tell your neighbors, your pastors, anyone. Let us not continue down the wrong path. Yes, it is a little long. But then again so is hell. (Sorry couldn’t resist that last one).

Many people I know have felt this way and were just not able to articulate it (me included). This article seems to do it well.
