This is the first reclaimed item I made after we moved to Colorado. It was actually my wife’s idea, so all the credit goes to her. Now, somehow I end up doing all the work from her ideas, but I digress. I made that first one out of part of the neighbors fence. (Don’t worry, I had permission, kind of). Well, those first few were so popular I have been making them ever since.
I make them now in a variety of colors and sizes, but all still from 100% reclaimed lumber. It is so satisfying seeing something that was destined for a landfill hanging on your wall with pride. You know it would look great on your living room wall (or leaning if you are one those hip, decorating types). Heck, get a couple and give one away as a gift.
